Dave, why use a 30 year plot? Why don’t you plot temperatures from the Medieval Warm Period from 500 years ago? In fact, why not plot from the end of the last ice age 11,000 years ago for a really good long-term trend line?
Sounds like you are cherry-picking; 10 years is too short, 500 years is too long yet somehow 30 years is just right. How convenient.
